Jeju Marine Protected Area Management

Jeju Island is Korea’s most representative tourist destination and has been designated as a protected area. The regional conflict due to over-tourism and development projects beyond the island’s environmental capacity is serious. Through project activities conducted including promotion of marine protected creatures and protected areas, Green Korea will create policy alternatives to facilitate the use of ecology and landscape without damaging them.
